Privacy.

We bring founders, builders and operators together. We use data to run that community, not to sell it.

Who is responsible

SOTI is operated by Valera Technologies Limited, the controller of the personal data described here. This notice covers soti.house and SOTI Badges. For privacy questions or requests, email adrianvalrom@gmail.com.

What we handle

Browsing does not require an account. Our hosting and analytics services process technical information such as page visits, clicks, device and browser details, referral information, IP addresses and errors. Applications and messages include the information you choose to send, such as your name, contact details, work and interests. Community records can include your profile, participation and membership details.

When you sign in to Badges with Google, Clerk receives your name, email address, profile image and account identifier. We do not receive your Google password or access to your Gmail or Drive. Your badge uses your member details and an identifier linked to your account. Adding it to Apple Wallet stores a copy on your device.

Why we use it

We use this information to respond to you, review participation requests, organise community activities, authenticate accounts, issue badges and keep the services working securely. Account and service processing supports the service you request; security and service reliability support our legitimate interests. Where processing requires consent, such as optional tracking or promotional communications, consent is the applicable basis and can be withdrawn.

The services involved

We use Vercel for hosting, performance and web analytics; PostHog for usage analytics where configured; Tally for applications; Notion for community records; and Clerk for authentication. These providers process data for the relevant functions. Some data may be processed outside your country, including outside the EEA, subject to applicable transfer safeguards. Contact us for details.

Member profiles selected for the website are public. External services, including linked payment pages, embedded YouTube videos and optional ElevenLabs voice experiences, also process information under their own notices when used. Avoid sharing confidential information in public profiles or optional voice experiences.

Cookies and browser storage

Authentication uses cookies or similar storage to keep you signed in. The website also remembers choices such as its visual style and entry screen, and analytics may use browser identifiers. You can clear or block browser storage in your browser settings; doing so may reset preferences or sign you out. This notice does not itself grant consent to optional tracking.

Retention and your choices

We keep information while needed for the account, request or community activity it supports, and where necessary for security, legal obligations or disputes. Provider logs and backups follow their retention schedules. You can ask us for the data we hold, corrections, deletion, restriction or a portable copy, and object to applicable processing. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

To close an account, remove a public profile or ask about retention, contact adrianvalrom@gmail.com. Removing a pass from Wallet does not automatically delete your community account. We will explain any information we must retain.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and communicate material changes through the service or directly when appropriate.
